Nooitgedacht has become the most sought after venue in the winelands for weddings and private functions. Our impressive estate and our professional & personal approach ensure exclusivity. Our service extends beyond the hiring of our traditional venue, but also in providing world class cuisine and exquisite accommodation.
The original cellar dates back to 1774. The function area accommodates large receptions, yet remains personal enough for smaller and medium sized functions.
The Bridal suite in the manor House is decorated in original furniture and objects de art, each piece an antique dating back to the late eighteen hundreds. Here, the wedding couple and their entourage can peacefully prepare for the ceremony while guests gather in the period gardens.
The smaller wine cellar (faunum) provides a cool, captivating setting for wedding ceremonies, where all eyes are on the bridal couple as they share their lifelong vows. The large cellar, with its rustic atmosphere, is used for the function area and can be tastefully decorated to add individual personality to the occasion.
The farm is located 4km outside Stellenbosch on the R304, also known as the Koelenhof Road, which leads to the N1 highway.
Menus and service details are tailored to suite your personal needs. Visits to the farm beforehand are encouraged to ensure the venues meet with function requirements (please note that site inspections are only allowed between 10am & 1pm on a Friday or Saturday). A healthy, vibrant energy emanates from the kitchen run by chefs Liesel Wirth and Maryke Reuvers. Refreshingly crisp and invigorating menus are set to compliment the theme of the day, ensuring a unique culinary experience.
Three double suites now complete the facilities, providing luxury accommodation for selected guests to spend the night after the function or tourists visiting Stellenbosch. |
