We have been in the floral business since 1994 and our passionate love of flowers is the energy behind Deur die Blare.
Alta Scott, the owner, received training in both Ikebana (Japanese floral art) and Western flower arranging & floristry. At Deur die Blare we combine all these design principles to create unique,artistic floral designs.
Our inspiration is our abundant natural surroundings here on the Garden Route and the seasonal bounties of flowers if offers us. Mother Nature is our working partner and we growing our own flowers. This gives us the opportunity to create flower decorations with a unique and personal flair. What a joy it is watching your little seedling grow and bloom, and then going into the garden and veld picking what you need and sharing the floral joy and beauty with others.
It is indeed a living art!
