Carefree and professional are definitely not mutually exclusive when it comes to my style of photography. I aim for photographs that exude a truly engaging warmth and genuineness together with excellent technical and artistic elements.
I work primarily as a wedding photojournalist – shooting around your day, and your joy. I record the elements of your wedding as they happen and avoid ‘stage managing’ what should be the most natural and most wonderful day of your married life.
Crucial to taking good photographs is the level of trust built up between myself and the couple whose wedding I have the privilege of shooting. That trust is built up over the months leading to the wedding, in the numerous emails and phone calls and in the engagement shoot which forms part of all my packages.
It is, I believe, what allows me to take photographs that reflect the genuine joy of the wedding couple and one of the many things that make my job an absolute pleasure. |
